Our first meeting of Model United Nations was held on Thursday, January 31st. Here is an outline of what we talked about during the meeting:
~ Model United Nations explained: Model United Nations is a way for students to simulate the United Nations assembly by discussing and debating issues regarding foreign policy and global issues.
~ In this club, we will have discussions, competitions, public speaking, games, and more!
~ If you join this club, you will gain knowledge about global issues, different countries, leadership, teamwork, public speaking
~ Plus, it looks good on college applications

- Secretary role: take notes of what happens during meeting
- Historian role: take pictures of the meetings and publicize the club
- Treasurer role: collect money for t-shirts, and manage any other funds necessary
